I've been smoking cigars for about the past 3 months since I went to Orlando and kind of got hooked after visiting some really awesome cigar lounges. I ended up buying a pretty nice desktop humidor, but have since outgrown it and am looking at larger storage options.

I usually smoke about 2-3 cigars a week at night once the kids are in bed, and usually pair it with a pour of bourbon.

Anyone else enjoy smoking cigars? What are some of your favorites?

My favorite would have to be the Liga Privada T52 by Drew Estate.

I am also a big fan of cigars. I enjoy them mostly in the summertime when I can smoke them outside at night, while kicking back a beer. Try the Rocky Patel Decade or 15th Anniversary. Both are very good in my opinion.

There is a long smoke and short smoke aspect to this. As far as the latter is concerned, Arturo Fuente Short Stories are a solid little cigar.

Great thread. Keep 'em coming.

Love sitting out back at night when it's warm and puffing on a cigar. The RP Decade and 15th Anniversary are definitely on my list of cigars to buy. I really enjoyed the RP Vintage 1992 that I smoked.

Those Arturo Fuente Short Stories are really popular, although I've never had one myself. I'll have to add that one to my list.

I smoked a La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial No. 1 a few nights ago and really liked that one. Great draw, great burn, and great flavor.

Try Padron. Excellent cigars. Their Aniversario series is just outstanding. Also, Partagas Cigars from the Dominican Republic are very good. Enjoy.

I got caught up briefly in the cigar fad in the early 90's. As a former regular and still occasional cigarette smoker, I find it nearly impossible to avoid the accidental inhale, especially when combined with alcohol. Cigars have contributed to all 5 of my worst hangovers ever. Never again for this guy.

I am sort of jealous of those that can enjoy them, because I totally get how they would be enjoyable.

Pipes, my friends. Pipes. If anyone wants a pipe night, let me know. I smoke occasionally but my dad is an aficionado of sorts. Got my roommate into them. Cigars are like the beer of smoking...Pipes are like the wines. And, over the long run, pipes are actually much cheaper and actually, much healthier. Mouth/lip/lung/throat cancer is a lot less of a risk through pipes as opposed with cigars.

If you're really interested, make sure you have a decent friend or find someone who knows a good deal about them so you get off on the right foot.

When I do smoke cigars, these are the kind I get. They are wonderful and are about $4.75 at Party Source. Excellent smokes, and probably the best bang for your buck.

If you want a more fruity cigar, something that the younger crowd really seems to enjoy and has a much more distinct flavor... Acid cigars. Give them a shot.

I'm dating myself - again - but as soon as I read "pipes" I immediately thought of the old Borkum Riff tobacco adds: "Pass the word the chicks are back!"

I got this mental picture of you sitting in a cushioned chair enrobed in a smoking jacket, smoking a pipe and having a finger of scotch next to a roaring fire.

Best cigar for an everyday price?

Te Amo- just get over the fact that its a Mexican cigar. Mild and a consistent smoke.
