TV viewers here won't have to settle for just "The Hills" or the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" this fall, they can watch the fun and adventures of four Cincinnati women on WXIX-TV's "Queen City" show.

The weekly reality series, to be announced by Channel 19 later this week, will showcase the activities of Tracey Conrad, Katie Cassidy, Lauren Brown and Adhrucia Apana.

Reality TV. Twitter. Message boards. Ugh. Society is in rough shape for the future. At least Xavier basketball isn't.

What kind of a moron wastes their time on those?!?

Just can't for the life of me imagine ever being interested enough in those 4 to sit and watch a T show about them. Really, daughter of the CEO of Cinti bell? Daughter of the Maisonette's Maitre'd, a former UC homecoming queen?
On the other hand, for the rest of the world, I recall the Cincinnati has the highest ratings for viewing reality shows. Survivor and the like live off the Queen City. Perhaps they'll have an audience somewhere, some really really bored people,,,,,,

When I was younger they could have followed me and my friends around on weekends. I am pretty sure that type of show would have gotten some pretty big ratings although it would have had to be on Showtime or Cinemax.

It's Cincinnati. What else is there to do?

All kidding aside, speaking as the guy who picked up his family and moved 1000 miles 7 years ago,,, cincinnati has TONS of stuff going on. Those of you I left behind, count your lucky stars. There's only so many weekends you can look at water, trees and emptiness.
You've got XU, Reds, Bengals, a whole slew of lesser pro teams, other colleges out the wazoo to entertain you. And that's just the sport stuff.
Taste, Riverfest, Octoberfest are epic weekend bashes.
I live in Maine, we have a lobsterfest in the summer a couple hours from me, it's like a tenth of the size of the Taste. There's a blues fest, also about 2 hours away, not even close to what Cinti gets at riverbend in the summer.
But we do have the big wife carrying championship. I think you get a 12 pack if you carry the old lady the quickest through a long mud puddle,,,,,,,, yea, count your lucky stars folks

The comments section for this article is entertaining.

My favorite was "I fart more creativity than this show."

PA, is the Lobsterfest in Rockland? That was my least favorite Maine town. It seemed a shame that they were the Lobsterfest host.

The back of our hotel room door appeared to be covered in blood spatter. It was rather disturbing.

Is it a big championship or is it the wives who are big? If it is the latter, I would think that a 12 pack would not be enough for her.

Yup, Rockland is in the wrong area up here, kind of the meth and oxy capital of the state. Couple good restaurants, the Blues Fest is there too. Gets kind of ugly by the end of the day.

Up there on occasion, I'm only a half hour away. One of those real beautiful places. Can get a but busy during the tourist season, but then our tourist season is only 2 months long.

We're looking to move closer to the other lakes region, further south and nearer civilization. My goal is to one day get a pizza delivered to my house, might be too much to ask. Pizza sucks here though, maybe find a pizza place that'll deliver fried scallops

My buddy used to date the Cassidy girl back in high school. Believe it or not she was a pretty down-to-earth cool chick.

I know three of those girls personally...Lauren Brown is a personal friend, is an amazing Chef and just so happens to be the Executive Chef of the Cincinnati Club (she is very talented, I know from work experience and personal experience) and she happens to be quite successful at knowing the who's who around Cincinnati and popular among the who's who of Cincinnati.

I have met Katie Cassidy, however I don't know what makes her so great, except the fact that she seems to have done a little bit of light modeling work (so I guess what makes her so awesome is her coming from money and being very attractive).

As for Adruccia Apana she has become quite a successful promoter around the Downtown Cincinnati Area. You want to be seen/know where to be seen she is the person to know/talk to/be seen with. She is a very successful, young, business woman and I give her mad props for what she has done with Downtown, considering what it was and what it has become.

The resurgence of Downtown and the popping up of little NYC-type Clubs isn't an accident for Cincinnati. It may be a little ahead of what Cincinnati is ready for, but it is for sure no accident. As a member and employee of the service industry I can say with great confidence that what is going on Downtown, with the popping up of trendy NYC-type Clubs is a welcome occurrence.

They may not be the places I or my co-workers frequent, but their existence, along with the fact that they are Downtown (which just so happens to be the location of the restaurant where I work) is welcome. They bring business Downtown, they make Downtown a popular place to go out, they make Downtown "safer" because more people are around, thus more police activity, they make Downtown hip again, and they have helped Downtown to be "re-born".

Downtown is no longer a taboo kind of place. Downtown Cincinnati is coming around and returning itself to its proper position as the "Place to Be". So this Reality TV show is welcome to record and air in Cincinnati as far as I am concerned. IMO the Police Women show presented the wrong image of Downtown and this show can only help with Downtown's resurgence!
