Consisted of:

-Being Born
-After being born sleeping non-stop for 13 years.
-After waking up, beginning to talk non-stop.
-But your talk was smooth and attracted every female
-You were in demand to mate with said females- for the length of your life.
-Your awake life lasted a total of one month.

Would you sign up?

One species on the planet has that for a life. Know who?

Sounds like the cicada. We're getting ready for the 13 yr cycle right now in South Carolina.
I think you have 17 year cycles up north.

Ever seen a cicada hit a windshield?

That's not an orgasm.

When do they come out down there? I'm going to the Outer Banks in three weeks and while I doubt there will be swarms on the banks, I don't relish having to drive through them either.

I remember coming down to visit Xavier during the end of that 17 year cycle. It was nuts. I'm glad I didn't have to visit X during the actual main brunt of the swarm.

They've started in northern Georgia, so we expect them here in the Upstate of South Carolina over the next few weeks. I don't think they will be in the OBX, and I don't believe North Carolina is in their breeding area.

Edit: oops, I was incorrect. A part of NC is in it. Just drive fast through that part!

My wedding took place while cicadas were swarming everywhere. It definitely added some excitement to the festivities.
