Xavier's team is definitely young this year after losing five seniors from last years squad. That said, there's reason to be upbeat about this year's squad. The reason: Ta'Shia Phillips.

Phillips averaged 21.6 points per game, 15.3 rebounds per game and 3.2 blocks per game while shooting 75.4 percent, during her senior season at Brebeuf Jesuit (Indianapolis) ... At the end of her career she had amassed 1,939 points and 1,308 rebounds and two state titles. Phillips is the reigning Indiana "Miss Basketball".

If she fufils on her potential, Xavier should do very well over the next few seasons.
