Roy Scheider.

From Jaws, to Still Of The Night, to Blue Thunder.

That's sad. Looks like he's been sick for a while. My favorite film of his is All That Jazz. He'll be missed.

I liked him as an actor. Great in jaws. He was enjoyable in 2010. I also liked the short lived Seaquest DSV TV series.

btw, I'd say "icon" is overstated for the likes of Roy Scheider.

Always liked Roy Scheider...First saw him in All That Jazz, the autobiography of Bob Fosse, which my brother in law the priest described as a death-bed confession....Loved Jaws, especially the use of an M1:cool: riflehttp://www.xavierhoops.com/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif

I was just thinking of Bob Fosse on Sunday. I had occasion to be in an ER bay(nothing serious). Hospitals are so sterile. For some reason I thought of the scene from Pete Hamil's anthology, Piece Work. In it he describes the rowdy scene that was Bob Fosse's deathbed. I was thinking that'd be a good way to go.
