No Gary Harris in the 2012 class?

This has nothing to do with this post, but I just don't like ESPN's rankings. I would much rather pay attention to Scout and Rivals, the guys who do nothing but pay attention and evaluate these kids.

Thanks Six Fig. Appreciate the info.
You too, A10Fan.
I wish we could get Jakarr Sampson under wraps. I'm afraid that, with the success he has had recently, he will go with one of the bigger programs.
Sorry! I shouldn't have verbalized that negative thought.
Someone reassure me! :)
GO MUSKIES!

He will either go to Xavier or Louisville. Unfortunately that is the facts. I hope we win with our 50/50 odds.

Hopefully he realizes what a dirtball Pitino is and picks X.

Looks like the NCAA is considering not allowing a school to offer a scholy to a player until between his junior and senior year of high school. Probably a wise move.

Offering a scholly is just a formality for many of these players after coaches have been tracking them since middle school. It won't change much, but will look good to the average person.

However it will stop players from making hasty commitments.

I would like to add that my future yet to be conceived son has committed to Xavier already. So look forward to that.

Some of these kids and their families will be hounded for a while longer, I guess. I've heard of kids being pressured by their parents to choose if only to stop the distractions of coaches calling, texting and trying to get in front of their kid constantly.
