Took a few days to get all the kinks between the console, my brain, and the router figured out, but now that it works, pretty cool.
Highly recommended
The only problem with running it through your WII is the lack of HD content. I am assuming you are doing it because you don't have either an Xbox or a PS3.

Yup, and didn't feel like buying into a blue ray player. I'm sure that'll come next and the Wii connecton will just be an extra, but since it's free,,,, you know the bneer drinkers motto, anything free is good!

So it's out now? I thought it was still a couple months away.
I just went to the Netflix site and it said "coming soon". But I reserved a copy for the netflix wii cd.

Netflix for my four year old is pretty much the only thing my PS3 gets used for.

I have Netflix for the PS3 and it is awesome. Don't know what I did without it.

Much better, IMO, than the watch instantly on your computer on their website.

I just set it up yesterday on our PS3, pretty cool. It was one of the things I was able to sell my wife on when we upgraded the boy's PS2 to PS3. PS3 is also coming out with wireless hand units and games that rival the Wii and have better graphics (fall of 2010).

I actually prefer the Wii for my Netflix streaming despite the lack of HD. The main reason being that the download speed is much faster than on either my PS3 or 360 (well, my deceased 360, RIP). I also like it better for viewing SD programming as I don't have to watch it in "Stretch-O-Vision," whereas the PS3 forces this due to pretending everything is a BDLive feature.

the list of things available to watch immediately is pretty nice, but you will not get the new releases, they'll never give those up online unless they set up another fee structure. you get the next tier of movies, and tons of older stuff. I was watching the first season of Route 66 this afternoon, classic stuff!
Of course NetFlix is why the video store is now dead.

I have Netflix, and rather than use a game console, I bought a Roku player with some giftcards that I got for Christmas.
I highly recommend it if you have $100 laying around that needs to be spent. I've watched quite a bit of Netflix on there, and you can watch MLB.TV on the Roku also.
