I don't think it's fair, but I think Cal is close to a lock to be an at large. They will be the PAC 10 regular season champs with an RPI in the 20s. There's no way they don't get in regardless of what they do in the PAC 10 tourney.

You watch. The PAC 10 will get 3 teams in the tourney. CAL is a lock, Arizona somehow has the 14th ranked strength of schedule and they will probably only lose 1 more game and end up with around 19 or 20 wins so they will go and then someone else will win the conference tourney and you will have 3 teams. Washington also has a shot at an at large if they can get on a roll. The PAC 10 blows but you watch they will be given some favors.

I think Cal is easily a tourney team. In fact, I could see them doing some damage once they get there. Montgomery seems to be seriously no-nonsense since coming back from the NBA.
