If the Bengals are going to win any playoff games this year Carson Palmer has to get his head out of his ass.
Running game is great
Oline is very good
Defense is great
Chad Johnson is back.
Quarterback play...not good.
If he does decide to play, they can win the whole f'en thing.

Yup, and the Ravens will probably lose to the Packers tonight. If that happens, the magic number for the Bengals to take the division would be one with the Ravens and the Steelers.

Great day to be a Bengals fan!

Oh, and just cause it bears mentioning...

That horrible Raiders team that inexcusably beat the Bengals last a couple weeks ago just knocked off Pittsburgh...in Pittsburgh.

Just sayin'

The patriots lost which puts the Bengals 2 games up on them. Maybe the Browns can beat the Chargers and give the Bengals a 1 game lead for a 1st round bye.

I'd agree on all but the recent oline play.
BB: " pass protection is a bit of an issue. Palmer is not getting the chance to sit in the pocket as much as we would like."

The '09 version at the offensive line is clearly better at making running holes than creating a passing pocket. I'm not clear on why we aren't play action passing more, though.

Carson and Poncho Cinco looked good on at least one play.

I love the o line but the pass protection has been spotty.

The way we run the football and grind it out on offense and then clamp down on defense reminds me of a certain super bowl champ that will not be named. AFC North football baby.

I think it has to do with Palmer's left hand being injured. The only time he can play fake is if he's faking a handoff to a running play to the left.
