Louisville has a boatload of injuries, but Charlotte is taking it to them. And you know what? If the Niners want to be taken seriously, they should. Louisville with 3 major injuries shouldn't be better than a healthy Charlotte.

I went to the UMass/HC game today. UMass looked okay, but it was pretty pathetic that a basketball game involving the University of Massachusetts played in Massachusetts (Worcester in this case) had about 2000 people in attendance.

Just got back from the SLU game. Mitchell got back on track and had a great game. SLU goes as he goes. He hit the floor pretty hard on a dunk attempt at the end of the game that was called an intentional foul. Hopefully he is ok. SLU looked pretty good for the most part tonight. They are tough at home.

Nice day for the league- except if you count those who should not be in the league like "F"-m and Olean Welding Academy.
You are not a "voice of reason." St. Bona is a proud institution that lives its Catholic values much like XU does. Sorry you prefer to dwell on one event that was very uncharacteristic of SBU, for which they have suffered disproportionately more than they deserved (and XU too has a few skeletons, not terrible but they exist). If you think FU and SBU should be kicked out of the A10, that's fine and I respect your opinion, though you may want to acknowledge that 1 of the 2 is making a concerted effort to win again.
It's also interesting that you consider Cleveland to be a "socialist state." I'm curious as to when exactly Cleveland went Marxist. Maybe what you meant to express is that it's too liberal for your personal liking, not that it's an authoritarian government that seeks to control all the means of production.
In the future leave the juvenile stuff at the door please and think about the meaning of what you type before you post it. Maybe the Olean Welding stuff was said in good fun, but as someone with many family connections to SBU it's kind of offensive to me.

Two things.
1) If you can't come to a Xavier message board and make fun of other A-10 teams then what is this site here for?
2) Cleveland does suck.

Whatever. The academic fraud happened. Deal with it as well as the embarrassing revelations that happened afterwards, including quitting on the season and hiring an awful replacement coach. What I say is mostly in good fun, except about the disgrace that "F"-m is, but you need to get over you're serious stuff if you want to come on someone else's board. I don't spend my time on the Bonahead board, the LoSsalle, board, or anyone else's. Who really cares?
Pray tell what "skeletons" you know of in Xavier's closet. We'd all be interested in what TMZ-type shocking report you may have to file.
Finally, This is the Cuyahoga Socialist State as run by the Workers Party. Almost all major business has been run out of town by ridiculously high taxes- some of which have been imposed by decree and not from a vote of the people- and by a general anti-business management attitude. The attempts to "redistribute wealth" through tax levies for "health and human services" in this county are legendary. That would certainly be a backdoor way of "controlling production". Let me know what other area would actually elect an admitted Socialist and Charlatan like Dennis Kuchinch to A) Mayor then after he put the city into financial default, B) Multiple terms as a US Congressman!? At least some have finally come to reason as the present entire system of government in this County has been thrown out and an entirely new Countywide structure will be put in place next year. Don't talk about something that you don't know about, sonny. Leave that to the experts.
You can expound on something you do know about in western New York- freezing temperatures, blowing snow, an economically depressed area, bad basketball, and academic fraud. That should keep you occupied for a few hours.

Actually I'm an XU grad and season ticket holder, not an opposing fan although I have rooting interests in other A10 programs as well. I can tell you that I don't know of any SBU fans that would ever talk that kind of garbage about other A10 schools, and frankly you really don't know anything about SBU. I hope that feeling the need to make these kind of comments about other schools is not part of the price of winning. If winning made our whole fanbase this embarrassingly arrogant, I'm not sure I'd want to win that badly.
Like I said before, I think what you meant to say is the Cleveland/Cuyahoga Co. are too liberal for your liking. Taxes imposed by decree? What a drama queen. Officials are elected to make those decisions. Go dump some tea in Lake Erie if it bothers you. I would think someone presumably with a degree from XU wouldn't go around like Senator McCarthy calling people or governments socialist that aren't.
Skeletons in XU's closet? Yeah, like I said nothing major, just things that happen when you get into high-D1 basketball. Maybe skeletons was a little strong of a word. Mostly we've won the right way. Along the way we've recruited a few shady characters (certainly far fewer than our fellow scholars across town) and tolerated quite a bit of off-the-court nonsense out of certain players. I also can't say I'm comfortable with the relationship with Cintas given some of the stuff that has been in the news. That's all. Really at the end of the day, the XUs and St. Bonas and Fordhams and SLUs and Duquesnes are the good guys in college basketball because they make values equally as important as winning.
I was disappointed when I came on here yesterday and instead of reading A10 basketball discussion I had to read a bunch of namecalling by some guy calling himself a Master of Reality and Voice of Reason. Who exactly are you to sit on some throne of anonymity lobbing ad hominem insults at people all day long. Call me thin-skinned or whatever, but the more I've read your posts over time the more tiresome they get.

I do not vote for Comrade Kuchinich. Never have. I am not adverse to voting for some new ideas, however, that may actually move something forward, but checks and balances, sir. Checks and balances. I did vote for our current President in hopes of some fresh thinking. However, I also voted for every Republican Senate or Congress candidiate that I could, again, in the interest of checks and balances. No hypocrisy at all. I certainly voted strongly to overthrow the present "Three Stooge" form of County Government.
Thank you for the proposal to set Cleveland adrift in Lake Erie. If that did occur, I would then be the owner of waterfront property, to my grand enrichment, since I do not live in the city. Please, AmeX. Use all of your vast powers to make that happen.
Bloviating? Again, nice wordsmith crafting, AmeX. It seems as if the art of sarcasm, hyperbole and wit with creative smacktalk as to the other, somewhat deficient, members of our basketball league is no longer in fashion. Well, just call me an old-timer then, because the trashing will continue when it is warranted- especially when I'm called out.
The last thing that I want to see, and I would suppose that you want to moderate Sir AmeX, is a boring, N_I_C_E board.
If it is.........ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
