Anyone have a weblink or a list of the other schools with the Nike elite contracts?

I might be in the high minority here, but if the Nike Elite unis are like the ones UK wore last night against Miami, then I'll take a pass on them. I believe they look stupid as hell. Skin tight on the top with skirt-like shorts on the bottom? Why is that cool? Of course, I'm not a Nike fan anyway, so I'm not getting all excited like some people on this sight are by this turn of events.

I completely agree, the new UK jerseys are hideous.

Really? I think the UK unis are great. They are different than anybody's and they pay homage to their history.

We have one of the most unique school names and there are lots of opportunities with the letter X. I don't know how important it is to have cool uniforms though. I think it is fun for the fans and maybe the players like it, I don't know.

The tight tops and baggy shorts has grown on me since it first started. It must be like when they switched from tight shorts to baggy shorts, just in the opposite direction.

I have always liked the tight tops, but I hate the shorts. I would prefer if they had the tight tops and the normal/somewhat baggy shorts they always had.

I agree 100% about the unis. The shirts are like under armour that a football player would weas under their pads, they are hideous. The shorts are too big and baggy. However I think the Nike elite deal is great for us besides the unis. My question is though, is every school who has the system of dress uniforms a Nike Elite school? I thought there were like 11 or less Nike Elite schools but it seems like there are more schools than that with the system of dress unis.

How about some cycling shorts?

By the way, I think Mich. State's uniforms are ugly too.

I hate the Under Armour look. I really hate overweight guys like Boozehound who wear their skin tight Under Armour casually at places like Game Day.

Seems like a perfect outfit for a big day at the Wal-Mart.

EDIT: Not even going to bother. I hope that you are just trying to get a rise out of me...

The uniforms we are wearing are the same as other schools that are Elite in a sense of the tighter shirts and baggy, longer shorts. That is the Nike "way" this season. Different designs for different schools but all the higher tier Nike schools are wearing the tight ass shirts with knickers for pants.....

I'm hoing we don't get some ridiculous tone-on-tone white pattern on our backs like Duke and Michigan St has. The idea could be cool, if they kept it simple. Duke's and MiSt's is way over the top though.

Has been since the year we played OSU in the tourney. They were one of the teams that debuted the system of dress in the tourney.

Ya I understand that but I am wondering specifically what schools are Nike elite. I believe there are schools that are sponsored by nike and have the system of dress unis but are not Nike elite schools like we will be next year.

I think you are right. I think Oakland had the system of dress a year or two ago when they came down here to play. And I highly doubt that Oakland is a Nike Elite school.

Yeah, Dayton wore SOD last season, and they're not a Nike Elite school. Probably because they're not Elite anything.

Anyone have any idea of about how many schools are Nike Elite schools? I thought I saw a number at some point when we were discussing this in the past.
