2008-2009 Depth Chart:

PG: Lyons, Redford, Jackson

SF: Anderson, Raymond, Graves, Jackson, Walsh
PF: Brown, Mclean, Taylor
C: Love, Bronson, Frease

We lose CJ Anderson, BJ Raymond, and Bronson:

We have 3 ships:

What do we need?

I think option #1 is a slasher SF
option #2 Shooting PF or athletic PF
option #3 Bank it and/or best available.

I would also not be shocked if Miller redshirts Walsh because minutes are tight in 2008-2009 at the SG and SF, and only use 2 scholarships in 2009.

Now that I have gone on this rant, what do you guys think?

I can definitely see Miller Redshirting Walsh (the more rest his ankle gets the better in my opinion). I'd place PF at #1 simply because I haven't really seen any of the transfers play. I guess I'd also want a combo F/G for further depth.

Of course it all depends on how the new guys play.

Anyone still think we will redshirt Walsh, especially with the amount of minutes and development of Graves?

I would put another point guard number one on my list. With Lavender leaving we will only have one true point guard on the team(Lyons) and he will be a freshman. What happens if he turns out to be a bust (example: Odia) or gets injured. The way Redford is scoring in high school he doesn't appear to be point guard material. He obviously isn't being used as a point guard.

Point could be a concern. I agree with Win.

yeah PG could be a concern if Cheeks gets hurt. Redford is technically a PG but he is so superior than the competition, I think he is prolly PG by default.

THat being said, I still have confidence in Dante to fill in if needed.
