Prayers

I took Monday off and my son called me up and told me his grandmother (my ex mother in law) requested my presence. A year ago she went in for surgery on arties in her legs, ended up having a heart attack and quadruple bypass the day after Xmas, that had complications they opened her up twice. Then in March she had trouble swallowing and it was discovered that she had a rare cancer in her sinuses (common in Asia countries, due to smoking). Tuesday morning at 1 AM she passsed away. My son has not been through such a close death from either side of the family and is having a hard time with this. My ex had been keeping her cool for awhile but after her mom died she has let all her sadness out. I have offered my shoulders for both but can't be there 24-7 right now. Her mother is out of the pain and in a happier place but the sorrows in their hearts are real and will heal at some time. Even though we are not married anymore I do ask for prayers of healing the sorrwo hearts of my son and ex-wife. My God watch over them and my my ex mother in law watch over them from the casino in the sky....
