Looks great, XU-PA.

Friday is a blessed day here in Nashville. Our first Chipotle is opening up and Xavier basketball is starting. I can't wait to enjoy a great burrito while I watch the game.

Hell yeah. Bailey's?

crazy, why did it take so long to open a chipotle in Nashville. There's 30 in cincy and nashville is roughly the same size.

Lucky, both of you, not a single one in all of Maine. In fact I don't suppose anyone up here has heard of a burrito any different than the tiny little wimps at Taco Bell.
Another thing I miss in the Queen City, add that to,
1) Skyline
2) Greaters and Aglameesis
3) Scotti's Italian ( run by an XU Alum)

I could go on and on.

But what the hell, Lobster is $5 here. Take the good with the bad.

Do you think Bailey's would let us eat said Chipotle burrito inside? I think I still have the manager's card in my car somewhere, I might have to give him a call. Regardless, yes Bailey's works for me.

Is that before or after the one next to Jungle Jim's opened up?

I've heard you can buy lobster at mcdonalds in Maine.

I exaggerated. I just counted 24 chipotles in the cincinnati area.

The Cincinnati area has an oddly numerous amount of chipotles (St. Louis area, for example, only has 8).

The same people who eat Cajun McChicken sandwiches in New Orleans?

20 minutes south of Augusta, so about 2 hours north of the border. You;re more than welcome if you feel like making the drive.

McDonalds up here used to have a lobster roll value meal, about 10 years ago I had one while on vacation, it was a basic lobster roll. Hunks of real lobster meat jammed into a hot dog bun (hot dog roll up here, cut along the top not the side) and I think it was like 6 bucks for the meal. I think that when the price of lobster went up into the 6 or 7 dollar a pound range they just dropped it. The price is way down now though, and the rolls are hot again as gas station fare. Prices range anywhere from 5 bucks or so, up to $20. The best places are the fisherman co-ops along the coast, cheap and right out of the water fresh! One of our favorites up here was serving twin lobster dinners this summer for $10.

I think Qdoba is superior personally. They abound in the Louisville metro area.

Ya and only one even close to SLU. But a lot more Qdobas which I like much better.

The qudoba is better than chipotle talk is ridiculous. I will not dish out negative reps. But I feel like it.

My Man cave is on a temporarily hold due to lack of cash to buy furniture...but it is looking good, the walls alternate from white to Xavier blue with a periodic small wall of gray...as soon as I can get the big screen and a couch and a few bar stools (was looking for Xavier ones but can't find anymore, so I am looking for blue ones and white ones now). As soon as I have it done I will post it.....a couple of people who have seen what it is now w/o furniture think it looks so cool....

It is fact. Not even close in my mind. The queso burrito alone makes Qdoba better.

Traffic is key. The Norwood Chipotle doesn't receive enough and ingredients sit out for long periods of time. In contrast, the Hyde Park Chipotle is probably the busiest in the region, so the ingredients are fresher

I don't think I'll ever do my krogering/chipotleing in Norwood. I'll always stay in Hyde Park.

Looking forward to seeing that!
I've seen the easy chairs and couches out there with pro football logos (the bengals chair was tempting) wonder if anyone has thought about putting out similar styles with college logos, a few of us would certainly be goofy enough to buy that!

Found a possible site for those stools, you'd have to call and check availability.

Maybe I just have bad luck at Qdoba but I have never had a great burrito there. There is no flavor, no moisture. Just like everything that's not Scottish...it's crap.

I have always had better burritos at Qdoba than at Chipotle. I like Qdobas chips better too and of course they have the queso for their chips and burritos. Still cant understand why Chipotle wouldnt have queso.

I will need to give Qdoba another chance and try the queso burrito but everything that I have had there so far has been way too dry and not much flavor, blech.

The ones rolled by gringos are not as good as the ones rolled by Hispanic workers.
