I am in Vegas this week, staying at the Las Vegas Hilton. I plunked down $10 on Xavier winning the NCAA tournament (200/1 odds). I figured this would be a good bet. If I lose I am out $10. But when I win, I will be up $2000, which will help after I have blown a big wad attending the final four and NC game.
FWIW, I also placed a $20 bet on the Cincinnati Bearcats to win the BCS championship (at 60/1 odds). I win both of these, I am loving live. I am not a big gambler, but I couldn't resist these odds.
Can't wait to celebrate our first NCAA National Championship. It will be incredibly cool to achieve this feat in the same year our Cincinnati Bearcats win it all in football.
Man, this is going to be a great spring. Anyone who wants to get in on this action, text me and I will book the bet (if this is illegal, let me know as I know nothing about the way gambling works).
