I have been told that Sunday Ticket is free this weekend on Direct Tv. I suppose they are hoping it will entice a few buyers.

It's a fact. My DirecTV inbox had a message yesterday promoting it.

not a shocker... this is has gone on for years. Directv has run the first weekend free for football... I think the first week free for baseball, basketball, etc... Their hope is you watch once, decide you can't live without it then buy it.
