Thank, guys. B-day was good. Blew off Meet the Teacher night and went to dinner w/ the family tonight at the Silver Spring House then came home and drank some beers with Surf while we watched the Reds blow another game.

I think if you check actuary data available somewhere you will find there are more babies born in the month of August each year than any other month. I know it was so very many years when I worked in a now non-existent hospital. Every August through the first week of September there were women in beds in the halls holding newborns. At one time thrry were going to put beds in the cafeteria before someone decfided to take over part of the medical floor. I think Jonathan Swift had a terse comment about such phenomina but that's for another time.

BTW, happy birthday new 40-year-old. Your fun is just beginning.:D:D

Good God, is it me or are there just a ton of August birthdays?
Starts cooling off outside after hot dry summer and fall. Thanksgiving's rolling around and nine months later, out pops baby! And yes I'm the result of a Thanksgiving love fest myself, being a late August arrival.
