Hello all.

My friends and I have been putting on a music festival just west of Cleveland every August since 2006. We call it the Bandango Music Festival. It's completely independent of any label, concert promotion company, or anything else that would tack on any extra fees for ticket prices. This year the event will be held at the Meadowlarks Motorcycle Club in Amherst, OH, and I would love it if a bunch of fellow Musketeers joined in the fun. Here's the skinny:

Date: Saturday, August 1

Cost: $10 bucks a person. This "donation" includes all the cold beer you can drink all day/night long (seriously), live music starting at 2 PM with the amazing ohio band Red Wanting Blue then continues til 1:30 AM with some of the best original Ohio bands out there, free parking, and free overnight camping space (we encourage camping so as to avoid driving druuuunk). There's food to buy, bathrooms, bonfires at night, acoustic jammers everywhere, cornhole, beer pong, flip cup, and all the fun and fornication that happens at the best party I've been to 3 times. Good times.

This is the real deal, as fun as any music festival I've been to, and it's independently thrown by a few Ohio boys that love good music and good times. If you're in the area, I'd really love to see ya there.

For any other info, just go to BandangoFestival.com.

what's your grassroots, independently-funded, all day music festival logo look like? huh?!

just kiddin'

but seriously tho, i've never seen the bonnoroo logo before and i just looked at it now. i guess its similar cuz of their o's at the end. a friend of ours spent a lot of time and made this for us and i think its great.

.

I'm with you on this one. I like your logo, and although the logos share some similarities, I think it's more to do with the letters involved than any creative design. Bonnaroo's logo isn't exceptionally original. In the 70's, my parents brought me a shirt from Mexico that looked a lot like the Bonnaroo logo.
