I've seen several people with chickens in Cincinnati, including some in CUF that walked (strutted) around in the dead end street. Today, while working, I saw sheep in a back yard in Avondale. The house was near the Zoo and Vine St, so I imagine the neighbors are used to strange sounds and smells.

I thought they were dogs at first and I was waiting for the loud deep bark of a dog that big and fat while looking to see how high the fence between us was. I did not get sleepy counting them, but there were only two.

I hope the owners fleece them before it gets hotter.

I was on Fountain Square the other day ands saw Snipe and the rest of the sheep having a tea party. Their constant bleating must be a violation of noise ordinances.

I'd rather have sheep in my neighborhood than cows ...

I heard that dogs were allowed in tonight's Reds game. Xeus brought all 8 of his dogs. His fiance' (yes, xeus got engaged) tried to sneak in her cat but was caught by the SPCA and turned away.

Kahn's, that picture is odd and disturbing. Looks like it came from a PETA ad. You know, something like "Sheep are people too."

Your job involves creeping around backyards in Avondale?

It seems people with farm animals are taking a cue from Michelle Obama's garden and preparing for the breakdown of the national food distribution system.

Over the holiday weekend, I will begin the top priority of cultivating hops on the balcony.

if they were in Hamilton, the owner would be busted for running a brothel. I can't imagine what they are doing in Avondale, though. Drug mules, maybe?
