If I were a smack artist cruising the internet for some good smack canvas and I came across this forum, I'd say something along the lines of, "This shit is weak." Enter GuyFawkes. Overplaying your opinions on children and lemons to get a rise is not smack. Are we Xavier fans just supposed to sit by and let him soil our canvas like this? For being one of the most image-conscious fanbases in college basketball (don't deny it), we do little to nothing to improve the quality of our smack when one of the key answers lies in simply eliminating our loudest weak link. Just remove it. Catch it before it spreads. Sit back and watch the quality of smack blossom like the spring flowers. End our cold winter.

A strong fanbase cannot be without the weapon of good smack. It is the military of the Xavier Nation. We must do what it takes to ensure that our military is strong and fully functional. But we have a coward in our infantry. A Judas at our table. GuyFawkes is in it for himself people, and he is not going to stop. He will continue to be fed and as long as he is flourishing in his mind, we will all feel the effects. People will continue to respond to his "Discuss" command and his E-ego will grow. I realize that I am shining the light of the attention he seeks on him right now, which is why I call for an IMMEDIATE INDEFINITE SUSPENSION. Let's not let him get off at our expense anymore. Eliminating him from the game is step 1, then we let the true players play. I come to you, moderators, in a time of need. Rid our smack forum of its weakness! SUSPEND GUYFAWKES!

But I stand by the rest of my material on this borad. It's cutting edge stuff.

I mean the OP ended his post with Discuss. Wasn't there a post just a while back that said true smack never ends with discuss. It ends with the defiant claim that we are going to take target of our hatred at the moment and do mean acts to them that would warrant at least an R rating for extreme violence.

Mods, please add a sarcasm detector button in between the Rep button and the Wilbon button. Also, allow posters the option to wear Abe Lincoln-like hats so there is less chance of things flying over their heads. Thanks in advance.

GuyFawkes is really bad at talking smack. His smack is so pathetic that I don't even read his stuff anymore. He has become a silly caricature of himself.

PMI, I'm using the ignore feature on him and it works fairly well. Sure, I still see where the nutjob has posted, but I don't have to read any part of the posts. At times someone might quote him and I might be subjected to it that way, but it's easy enough to just move on. Seriously, try the ignore feature on him. You'll like it!

While it's true my grandmother could come up with better smack than the variety usually peddled by Guy Fawkes, I generally dislike the idea of a member being banned for any but the most eggregious of offenses. It would seem more appropriate to relegate such posts to a "bitch and moan" section. I'd be afraid, however, that most of the threads these days would be relegated there so we should probably just be content with the status quo.

See how much better things are already? With Guy's one-day absence, it's like AmX stuck a syringe in the Smack Forum and gave it a good HGH boost. But it's more the way it happened. I made an error and Guy Fawkes had to pay for it. I touched the stove and Guy Fawkes felt the burn. Beautiful. Sweet, sweet justice. I'm going to go out tonight sh!t-faced, yell loudly at by-passers, make scenes everywhere I go by yelling "F*** this white club!," proceed to black out, draw even more attention to myself, punch a cop, punch a cop's horse, get caught with hard drugs and then come home and torture my roommate, and Guy Fawkes will be charged with all of it. Thank you Guy.
